Exploring the wonders of the natural world one snapshot at a time

After spending countless hours outdoors in Australia’s vast landscapes, I found myself surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. I have spent a lot of time photographing landscapes, and naturally, I started capturing a few birds here and there. Then curiosity got the better of me, and I bought my first bird book to identify some of the birds I was photographing and it’s snowballed from there.

I remember a couple years ago we were all rugged up after shooting yet another colourful sunset on Ireland's windy west coast, a conversation about an opportunity to photograph in a couple of Kenya’s most scenic national parks arose. A year later, I found myself seated in the back of a green 4x4, staring through the camera lens into the eyes of some incredible African animals. It was there that my excitement and passion for wildlife photography truly flamed up.
